Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1980

Carrol Braddock CARROL OWEN BRADDOCK, 63, was welcomed on May 22, 1962 by Carolyn (RHS-1963) and Clyde Braddock as their first born into this world. He passed away on Feb. 28, 2026. Growing up Carrol was a sweet, kindhearted soul who would give the shirt off his back and always stood up for others. He was a beloved big brother to his little sisters. He attended Young Elementary School and Ranger ISD where he graduated in the RHS Class of 1980. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, & working on the ranch. Carrol married the love of his life in July of 1991. During the past 34 years he became a loving father to Rhonda & Ronny and the most amazing Papa to his grandkids and Great-Grandkids. All of them being the light of his life. Teaching them all the ways of the outdoors and wildlife. All of them learning to hunt and fish and taking them on some of the best camping trips a child could ask for. He even won an award at Head Start for fixing the best hair (Jessi's). He was an amazing man and a hero to all his babies. He is survived by his loving wife Sue Braddock of Ranger, Parents Carolyn and Clyde Braddock of Ranger, Daughter and Son-in-law Rhonda (RHS-1989) & Alton Watson of Ranger, Sisters Carrie Braddock (RHS-1996) & husband Matt of Ranger, Cheryl Thayer (RHS-1985) and Bobby (RHS-1984) of Ranger, Grandchildren Jake and Stephanie Wells, Jessica Wells and Sam, Nick Gilbert, and Jason Hooper all of Ranger, Michaael and Sky Gilbert, and Cali Slaughter of Eastland, Cheyanne Gilbert of Breckenridge, Dom and Chelsea Taylor of Cisco, and Jasmyn Donias of Ft. Worth. 23 Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Carrol was preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents, Owen and Bea Rose, Son Ronny Gilbert (RHS-1992), Grandson Josh Wells (RHS-2006), Mother-in-law and Father-in-law Emma and Dick Williams, Paternal Grandparents Eddie & Lucy Braddock, several aunts, Uncles and many Beloved friends, all of whom await him in eternal peace.
