JIMMY THOMAS HAGAR, 52, died on July 26, 1992,
and was in the Ranger High School Class of 1958.
He was born on Jan. 2, 1940 in Ranger, TX and
attended Ranger Jr. College. He married Gail
Rapp (RHS-1960). Later he married Loretta Manasco.
WIFE: LORETTA MANASCO HAGAR, 81, left this
world peacefully on May 26, 2025 in Ft. Worth, TX,
with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX.
She was born on July 21, 1943, in Ft. Worth & spent
her life enriching the lives of those around her with
her vibrant spirit and loving nature. Loretta was a
proud accountant who dedicated her career to the
financial industry, showcasing her incredible work
ethic and attention to detail. Beyond her professional
life, Loretta was known for her many passions. She had
a creative side that shone through in her love for
making beautiful porcelain dolls. She also enjoyed
traveling, often sharing exciting stories from her
adventures, and was a regular at Winstar Casino with
her sister Carolyn, where they created countless
cherished memories together.
In her downtime, Loretta loved indulging in her favorite
cop shows and shopping for great finds. However, nothing
brought her more joy than being surrounded by her family,
especially during the holidays. She will be remembered
for the warmth & laughter she brought into every gathering.
Loretta is survived by her loving children - Paula Simpkins
and husband, Thomas, Angela Gillihan and husband, Adam and
Clayton Smith; step children, Carla, Jimmie and Jana - who
will carry her memory forward. She was a cherished sister
to Carolyn Wylie and a proud grandmother to Samantha Petrigni,
Derrick Simpkins, Corey Smith, Jeremy Simpkins, Rebecca Gruver,
Travis Gruver, Catherine Simpkins, Ashley Gillihan and Kaylle
Gillihan. She was also a doting great-grandmother to nine
great-grand-children.
Loretta was preceded in death by: her husband, Jimmie Hagar,
parents, Benjamin Manasco and Opal White, brother, William
Manasco, and sister, Sharon Price-Potts.
