JIMMY ONIS LITTLEFIELD, 88, passed away on
July 14,2026.
He was born on Nov. 5, 1936 in Ranger, TX to Onis
& Gaddybell Littlefield and resided there until
high school graduation. He attended Ranger High
School in the Class of 1955 & played on the 1953
State Bulldog Football team. Jim graduated from
Texas A&M University, College Station in 1960 and
accepted a teaching and coaching position in San
Angelo ISD. After teaching, coaching, & assistant
principal positions in San Angelo, Corpus Christ,
Tahoka, and Flour Bluff, in 1992 he retired as
elementary school principal in Port Aransas ISD.
He met and married Kathryn Adams (Kathy) in San
Angelo as their teaching careers began. His interests
included playing golf, fishing, hunting, basketball
officiating, and anything which was about Texas A&M.
He is survived by his spouse of 62 years, Kathy, son
Cliff & wife Donna.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother,
Jack Littlefield (RHS-1946).
