TIM DAVID WOODS, 92, beloved father, grand-
father, great-grandfather, brother & friend, passed
away on April 25, 2025 in Granbury, TX, with burial
at Cross Roads Cemeter near Ranger, TX.
Tim was born Oct. 13, 1932 in Ranger, TX, son of
David Bailey & Cottie Cevellia Lemley (RHS-1924,
RISD Faculty) Woods. Following graduation from
Ranger High School in the Class of 1951, he
joined the U.S. Army and he proudly & honorably
served his country. Tim worked for Ford Industrial
and Cummins Sales & Service for over 30 years.
Tim enjoyed spending time with his church family,
family reunions, playing his fiddle, and he was an
avid Bible reader. His greatest love and joy was
spending time with his family.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Bailey
& Cottie Woods; wives, Kay Loy Woods, Bea Woods,
and Dorothy Woods; grandsons, Aaron Woods, and
Alex Woods; brother, Bailey Woods (RHS-1945);
and sister, Gwen Woods Bonner (RHS-1948).
He is survived by his son, David Woods; his daughter,
Rosemary Woods; step-daughters, Sandy Wall, & Brenda
Humphries and husband, Dwayne; grandchildren, Justin
Selby, Brooke Woods, Ace Humphries, Amber Shumake,
Allison Provo, Zack Shumake, & Drew Shumake; many
great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd Woods (RHS-1954);
sister, Carolyn Woods Barron (RHS-1954); many nieces,
nephew, and cousins; and a host of extended family
members and friends.
