FRANKLIN C. FRASIER, 25, son of Mr. & Mrs. F.B.
Frasier of Ranger, TX was killed in action on Sept. 13,
1944, in the Italian Theatre. Cpl.
Frasier had entered the service at the time the National
Guards were called into service in Nov. of 1940, & had
been in foreign service since April of 1943 serving with
the infantry. He had gone through training at Camp Bowie,
TX, Camp Blanding, FL & Camp Edwards, MA.
He was born in Michigan on Aug. 5, 1919 and came to
Ranger with his parents in 1920. He was educated at
Ranger High School and played with the Bulldogs in
1937. He was known to his friends as "Spot". Before
entering the service he was employed by Pete Jensen
in a hydraulic casing pulling oil well crew.
Besides his parents he was survived by a sister, Ruby
Frasier (RHS-1937) and two brothers, Howard Frasier
(RHS-1946) of Ranger and Robert Frasier (RHS-1943).
At the time of Franklin's death, Robert Frasier was
serving as an S 2/c with the Pacific Fleet.
