JOSEPH HENRY DREINHOFER , 80, was born Dec. 30,
1911, in Ranger, TX to Grace Truman Parson and John F.
Dreinhofer and he was in the Ranger High School Class
of 1931. He was married to Lois Bush Drinkard (RHS-1930),
during the war and they had three children, Arthur Henry,
John Frederick & Grace Ann. Grace Ann lived only nine days.
Mrs. Dreinhofer had two children from her previous marriage,
Donald Lewis Drinkard, born in Eastland and Wanda June
Drinkard Davis (RHS-1949), born in Ranger. Henry had twin
sisters, Emily Dreinhofer Gorman (RHS-1922) and Ella Betty
Dreinhofer White (RHS-1922) and another sister, Mary Jane
Dreinhofer Van De Putte (RHS-1932) and two brothers,
William Charles "Bill" (RHS-1926) & John "Ted" (RHS-1916).
Henry worked for Lone Star Gas Company in Ranger both
before and after WWII and around 1948 he worked for
Tennessee Gas Transmission on the pipe line in Victoria,
transferring to Falfurrias and then to Agua Dulce where
his brother "Bill" was plant superintendent. Henry died
in Ranger on Feb. 2, 1992.
