1960 in Dallas Co., TX.

She was born in 1911 at Wichita Falls, TX to Warren
S. & Ruby Owens Shelby. Viola attended Ranger High
School in the Class of 1930 at Ranger, TX & married
Lonnie C. Brigance who died in 1983. Their children
were Monte Brigance, Blaine Brigance, and Anna J. 
Brigance. Her siblings were Joseph "Mike" Shelby,
Doyce Shelby (RHS-1932), and John W. Shelby.
